Boardtrac is pleased to announce a number of new innovative features including full-screen landscape view, multi-level administration, individual/document level security enhancement and circular resolutions (voting).
Full Screen Landscape View
This functionality enables the user to enhance the reading of documents by changing the landscape iPad view to ‘full screen’ or back to standard current view as users prefer.
Multi-Level Administration
This feature allows users to assign individual administration rights to specific committees / folders. Users will have greater flexibility in how they structure the internal user of Boardtrac to suit their needs and their organisation’s structure. Company secretaries and outsource providers will be able to administer their suite of customers on a common platform within Boardtrac.
Individual / Document Level Security Enhancement
Administrators have the capability to ‘opt out’ specific individuals within a committee or group for specific agenda items or sub items (documents) within a published meeting agenda. The feature will remove the need to create alternate folders to restrict content to some users.
Circular Resolutions (Voting)
A significant enhancement and new capability we are introducing is an online system within Boardtrac to facilitate circular resolution voting for Board and other meetings. Using a similar approach to creating and publishing a meeting, administrators will be able to circulate relevant documents to users with a voting interface – allowing real time online voting (or done offline and collated when the iPad is back online), with a visible tally of who voted, how they voted and when, all within the administrator’s site. This functionality has been designed with the assistance of Minter Ellison, having regard to Australian governance requirements.
